Shrimp Tacos

I have the best shrimp taco recipe for you to try! Have you tried the Tortilla Land Tortillas? They are in the refrigerator section of your grocery store. They are raw flour tortillas, you cook in a dry pan. Oh my goodness, they are so good! There is no comparison to those premade ones that you buy on the shelf. They have no preservatives, so there’s no weird aftertaste. Y’all have to try these! You won’t be disappointed. I make my shrimp tacos with top quality simple ingredients, that way, each ingredient gets to shine, not overpowering any others. I use garlic salt, chili powder, lime zest and juice to season the shrimp. Then to build the taco, I use my homemade Chipotle Lime Ranch Dressing, Cotija cheese, cabbage, and cilantro. See, super simple, but delicious! Your family will beg for these!

Tortilla Land raw flour tortillas, or your choice of tortilla
2 lbs frozen shrimp
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp chili powder
1 Lime, zested and juiced
1/4 cabbage, shredded
Chipotle Lime Ranch Dressing
Cotija Cheese, crumbled

In a large pan, combine shrimp, cumin, garlic salt, chili powder and lime juice and zest. Cook on medium heat until the shrimp are pink and curl in on themselves. While the shrimp cook, start browning tortillas in a dry pan. On medium low heat, cook the tortilla on one side until the little bubbles start to brown. Flip and do the same on the other side. You can tell when the tortilla is done when it appears less translucent and has brown bubbles on each side. To assemble the tacos, layer on to the tortilla 5-6 shrimp, depending on size, then shredded cabbage. Next a nice drizzle of Chipotle Lime Ranch Dressing. Top with sprinkle of Cotija cheese and a few cilantro leaves. Enjoy!!
